There are also these that are coming out:

Coruscant Nights 1: Jedi Twilight (26 Jun 2008) - paperback

Star Wars: Coruscant Nights 2 (28 Aug 2008)? I suspect that the release date will be later than this, but it's what's listed on Amazon. - paperback

Star Wars: Coruscant Nights 3 (30 Oct 2008)? Again, I suspect the release date to be later. - paperback

Luke Skywalker and the Shadows of Mindor (2 Oct 2008) - Hardcover

Synopsis:
The Battle of Mindor, where the forces of the New Republic, led by Luke Skywalker, take on the Black Stormtroopers, led by Lord Shadowspawn, self-styled new Emperor of the galaxy. What Luke Skywalker, Princess Leia, Han, Solo, Chewbacca, C-3P0, R2-D2, Lando Calrissian, and the pilots of Rogue Squadron don't realize is that the Battle of Mindor is a trap devised just for them - a diabolical attempt by Lord Shadowspawn to do away with the heroes of the New Republic so that he can crush the upstarts and restore the Empire - with himself at the helm. But Lord Shadowspawn has underestimated the bravery and resourcefulness of his enemies... (reposted from Amazon)

It sounds good. (The Rogues are in it yay, and Chewie!) But Lord Shadowspawn?

The Force Unleashed (24 Jun 2008) - Hardcover

Star Wars: Republic Commando Order 66 (5 Aug 2008) - Hardcover

The release dates for some of those are pretty close together, so I would assume that they will change, otherwise the market will be flooded all at once...

Thanks Em, I thought Order 66 was not out until next year. Now I can actually look for it in the stores.

I am going to print this list because I still have a lot of books missing

That's just the dates what's on Amazon. There's seems to be a lot listed there (there's also Invincible coming out some time this year as well,) so some of them might have their release dates pushed back. I just spend too much time on Amazon, sometimes. There's quite a few which I need to catch up with as well, as I've not got True Colors yet, Death Star and the new Darth Bane book. (I'm waiting for the last two to come out in paperback, because the last few hardbacks that have been out have been expensive for what they are). I've got to read the Legacy of the Force books as well, but I've been finding it difficult to get into those.

The Luke Skywalker and the Shadows of Mindor book seems to have a different publisher to Del Rey, so going with that, the books might start to pick up again.

I've just been having a look for the release dates for the Coruscant Nights series. According to Waterstones, Jedi Twilight should be out in June this year (possibly slightly earlier for the US, since it's usually released there before it comes out in the UK.), Street of Shadows should be out in August, according to Waterstones, and the third one should be out in October. However, on the offical site, it says that Street of Shadows should be coming out in September. I wish they'd make their minds up with this. On the Waterstones website, it also calls book 3 Street of Shadows, when it should be called Patterns of Force, so it makes me wonder if the release date on the Waterstones website is wrong. Amazon is just as confusing, as well.

Confused? You will be...

http://www.amazon.co.uk/Star-Wars-R-...ref=pd_sim_b_9

http://www.amazon.co.uk/Clone-Wars-S...ref=pd_sim_b_6

http://www.amazon.co.uk/Untitled-K-M...ef=pd_sim_b_14

http://www.amazon.co.uk/Untitled-Sta...ef=pd_sim_b_11

I found these listed on Amazon. Look at the release dates. They all come out really close together...(and consider that we already have a string of books coming out soon...) What's Del Rey playing at? And the other question, is how fans are supposed to afford to buy all these books when money's tight at the moment, not to mention that it would have been a struggle in normal circumstances.

Just managed to get Order 66 and the new Darth Bane book. (Both out in paperback now, though the Darth Bane was a US edition from the SF bookshop I go to which gets stuff from the US.)

I've not seen hide nor hair of Death Star, Millennium Falcon, Patterns of Force or Shadows of Mindor yet, though they alledgedly should be out. I suspect the release dates of some have been changed, then to avoid flooding the market.

It looks like the dates of some have been changed (again)...I was looking for Invincible and found that the paperback release will be in April, according to Amazon. I have seen Luke Skywalker and the Shadows of Mindor today, so that one is definately out. For Christmas, I got Death Star in paperback, so you should be able to find that one now. (I really, really need to catch up on my Star Wars novels...)

That is f unny, my son gave me Death Star for Christmas and I just have the time now to read it. Not a bad book and it's nice to read books that are written from the perspective of different characters including Vader and Tarkin.

I need to catch up with them, but because of LOTF, it's kinda put me off reading them...(at least I should be safe with Death Star) I have a stack of them to read, but I just don't understand why since the New Jedi Order, the publishers and authors have insisted on butchering the SW universe of that time. If you get round to reading Invincible, then you'll know what I mean...I've not read it yet, but lets just say that the book was spoiled by a synopsis I read for Blood Oath. I really think they should scrap the current timeline beyond the NJO...This is the curse of liking a universe too much!
